A weighted vest applies deep pressure to the muscles and joints of the user. Weighted therapy is recommended with such disorders as: 

• Autism and Asperger’s 
• Sensory Integration 
• ADHD 
• Cerebral Palsy  
• Poor motor skills and coordination 
• Hyperactivity  
• Difficulties in falling asleep at night-time  

Weighted vests are a great tool in OT therapy but are also suggested for everyday use. They work well on hyper children who struggle to concentrate in the classroom, during therapy, find shopping experiences or hospital appointments difficult to handle. The vest can be put on when the user/parent see a need like hyperactivity or difficulties in information processing and take it off when the overstimulation is in control.  

ORDER GUIDE 

The vest should balance at 5% of the body weight. We require you to fill in the additional information as our vests are made to measure. Each body has a different shape and the more we know the better.  

 Some of the measurements are optional but bear in mind, we do not accept returns if the optional information is not provided and the vest does not fit the user due to the lack of measurements.  

Required: 

• height and weight of the user;

• back length from a collar to a hip (jacket length) 
• waist circumference 
• chest circumference
